The 2006 2007 Volvo XL70 is equipped with a 2.3-liter inline 5-cylinder engine that produces 247 horsepower at 5200 rpm and 243 lb-ft of torque at 2400 rpm. To this is mated a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. A 5-speed automatic system with a manual shift mode is available, however. Manual models change the power rating to 258 lb-ft of
torque.
